Ugh.

I sometimes think I have the will power of a new born. Haven't been exercising regularly, but I did lose 5 lbs last month. Which is totally AWESOME! I think what helped was only eating about 1600 calories a day. I used that in combination with eating 6 small meals a day every 2 hours. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, supper, snack. Helped me from over eating at meals.

Yes, I said "helped". Keeping snack foods (healthy food and semi healthy snacks) is hard if you don't have a budget for it. Fruits and veggies are expensive and so are the 100 calorie snacks. I tried to balance healthy with some semi healthy so I wouldn't be too tempted to eat candy bars and what not. You can get 100 calorie cookie snack packs and cheese its. Like I said though, little expensive.

I'm still trying to figure out this budget thing now we have Charles. Never was good at a budget before, but now he is our lives, I've gotten better! But still not there.

If it wasn't for this HORRIBLE snow we got here in Pittsburgh, I would have been able to go grocery shopping and could have gotten on track. As it stands now, I can only buy a little at a time. Top that off with poorly shovled side walks and that creates a nice hazard. Almost broke my ankle twice Wednesday when I went to get some groceries. Not having a car sucks! Would have made it easier. Though my husband would have drove. I don't like driving in the conditions and when you add city drivers, it makes it worse.

Wow, that was a lot of complaining! Oh well, right? Here is hoping I can "get back on the wagon". =) Next month is going to be a trial to stay on. Between starting on-line classes, working from home, taking care of Charles, packing, AND moving, I don't know if I'll have time to exercise! Though I should make time. I would imagine that it would be a good stress reliever.

Well I should get off. My husband should be done with dishes soon so I can make supper. (Yes, late suppers is another issue I need to work on.... so much work to do and there is only one of me....ugh).
